Merch & Apparel
Good design should be felt as well as seen. This collection focuses on translating brand identities into tangible gear—from custom apparel and commemorative race medals to collectible enamel pins and stickers. These projects highlight the challenge of balancing a creative vision with the unique manufacturing constraints and material requirements of physical goods.
Race Apparel
Across more than 30 themed races at Thanksgiving Point—including the Tulip 5K, Scarecrow, 5K, Dino Dash, and Giant Journey—I created custom race kits that helped thousands of participants feel like champions before they even crossed the finish line. Each kit included a coordinated shirt, medal, and bib designed to match the tone of the event, whether it was playful, seasonal, or just plain fast. From concept to production, I handled the full visual design while collaborating with the Signature Events team and external vendors to ensure the final pieces landed with impact. Because when the race is over, the swag lives on.
Enamel Pins
These limited-run enamel pins were created as custom collectibles for events like Luminaria, Tulip Festival, and Dinosaur Island. Each design was developed to reflect the spirit of the event while working within the constraints of pin production—tight color limits, small scale, and the tactile finish of soft or hard enamel. From guest giveaways to team member exclusives, these pins added a fun, keepsake-quality touch to the overall experience.
