Race Branding & Merchandise

Good design should be felt as well as seen. This collection focuses on translating race identities into tangible event gear, from custom apparel to commemorative medals. Each project required balancing visual identity with material constraints, production requirements, and coordination with manufacturing partners to bring the final pieces to life.

BRANDING / ILLUSTRATION / MERCHANDISE

Tulip 5K

An annual spring race through Ashton Gardens, the Tulip 5K called for a fresh visual identity each year while remaining recognizable as a long-running Thanksgiving Point event. Each year’s artwork extended across apparel, finisher medals, ribbons, race bibs, and event graphics.

Dino Dash

Introduced during the Dinosaur Island summer event, Dino Dash extended the larger event identity into a new 5K experience. The race branding carried the playful prehistoric theme across apparel, finisher medals, and race bibs while giving the race an identity of its own.

Giant Journey 5K

Created for the Uncharted Worlds summer event, Giant Journey reimagined the event’s larger-than-life creatures with a lighter, more playful personality for the 5K. Illustrated apparel, custom medals, and coordinated ribbons gave the race its own character while keeping it connected to the larger event.

Scarecrow 5K

Held each fall during the annual Scarecrow Festival, the Scarecrow 5K took on a new theme each year. The changing themes created an opportunity to reinvent the race annually through illustration, character, and a healthy dose of fall personality.
